Hi there! Your username is incredibly problematic -- using the word ghetto to describe something inferior is really coded. Just an FYI. I used to drop the word ghetto in conversation all the time before someone pointed out that it had really racist/classist undertones.
Hello anon! Sorry for the really late response, I haven't really touched this account recently.
Personally, my ethnic background includes Jewish and Polish, and some of my family are actually Holocaust survivors, so I'm very aware of the possible implications and connotations behind the word 'ghetto', since that's where it originated. But not every context of 'ghetto' is in a derogatory fashion -- in the case of the username joke, it's quite literally talking about the slum part of a city (the Marvel version of Hell's Kitchen), so it's 'the batman of a ghetto'. While I can see how the username would be offensive if the character it were for was a minority, in this case it's a white man being poked fun of.
